The “humane advocate protectors” have been busy making claims that a low dose of testosterone turns female greyhounds into male greyhounds.

I’ve personally researched this subject and have found proof that indeed they just might be correct.....or is it they haven’t a clue?

It seems that when a concerned person in the greyhound community posted a valid review of a greyhound event on social media, a supporter of a convicted child molester with lifetime registration came forward with guns blazing. It appears this child molester supporter does not care that the individual may still have issues or exhibit the nuances of child molesters:

Below is the review that inflamed a supporter of a convicted child molester with lifetime registration, which is quite accurate, especially for those who had children at and near the event:

It is astounding that this apparent supporter of a convicted child molester with lifetime registration, who is also a vendor at many of the family friendly greyhound community event feels the need to so vocally come to the aid of a convicted child molester who has lifetime sex offender registration. What the vendor/supporter fails to address is that if it had not been for concerned people alerting the church (which was the host site of this particular greyhound event) that it was being run by a convicted child molester who has lifetime sex offender registration, no police officers would have been onsite. The convicted child molester who has lifetime sex offender registration would have been able to stroll freely around the church and grounds which not only is designated as a safe sanctuary but has a daycare center on-site not to mention the children who attended the event with family members, adults. I would imagine the town where the family friendly greyhound event was held may also be home to at least one or two children under the age of ten years of age, but I could be mistaken.

The vendor/supporter of the convicted child molester who has lifetime sex offender registration amps up….

Does this vendor/supporter have proof that no other children have ever been molested by a convicted child molester with lifetime sex offender registration? Can it be said beyond a shadow of doubt that the two children, ages 5 and 7, were the only ones? All that can be said is that they are the only ones that the convicted child molester with lifetime sex offender registration was prosecuted and served time for and now has lifetime sex offender registration because of.

Then the vendor/supporter makes his lowest comment…

The vendor/supporter accuses a person who made a valid review of a family friendly greyhound event of having a relation who is “an offender” yet offers no proof or issues no retraction of a false statement. (Wonder if the vendor/supporter remembers his own comment about defamation) 

Some people don’t realize how foolish they make themselves look on social media when giving support for a convicted child molester who has lifetime sex offender registration to individuals they do not know. Sadly far too many people know exactly how innocent lives can be destroyed by the hands of a child molester. This vendor/supporter is apparently oblivious to the possibility that innocent lives forever changed by child molesters may be part of the greyhound community.

It is becoming clear that rather than step away, a convicted child molester who has lifetime sex offender registration continues to get support on the internet, with the aid of mouthpieces if necessary, not only to maintain a position but also to damage to the reputation of a long standing family friendly event and such actions continue to cast aspersions on the greyhound adoption community. 

Allowing a convicted child molester who has lifetime sex offender registration to intimidate those who do not support him is as unacceptable as the sexual molestation and intimidation that was used on two innocent children. Before supporters jump on the bandwagon of a convicted child molester who has lifetime sex offender registration and attempt to intimidate strangers, perhaps the supporters should stop and think if the strangers they are insulting have firsthand knowledge of the damage a child molester can do. 

Summer times here and that means we need to remind the “humane advocate protector/profiteers” to not use dogs as props in the heat!

I know - It's pretty sad that we have to remind the "humane advocate protector/profiteers"  who claim to be speaking for and protecting the greyhounds how to actually protect and  care for a greyhound!

Be smart or be scammed

With the “humane advocate protectors” getting caught red handed in the last year with the truth about the past, and even more recently telling a big lie about a photo then altering it to hide the truth, you might wonder how can so many people be snookered into donating money when the lies are so obvious.

We all have received those poorly written e-mail scams and I know most of us see it for what it is – a scam. 

From working in the information security field, I find the answer is quite simple. Those performing the scam realize that a percentage of the thousands they target will fall for a heartstring tugging scam e-mail. The scammers also know they can spend less time by focusing on (aka suckering) the people who, for whatever reason, fail to understand that it is a scam and happily send in their donations. 

Scammers prey on those who do not realize the pleading e-mail will only benefit the scammer, much the same way the “humane advocate protectors/profiteers” need enough people who fail to see through the lies, fail to question their statements and continue to send them money.

The next time you plan on hitting that donate button to send money to the “humane advocate protectors/profiteers”, please realize they have no respect for you because they view you as being of value to them only because of the money you continue to send them and are amused at your continued gullibility at the malarkey they shovel your way.

  

Adoption groups need funding - Yet "humane advocate protectors" provide themselves with hefty raises???

When "humane advocate protectors" profess that they are “fighting” for the greyhounds with pleas of send us money and donate now, one would think these “humane advocate protectors” would be good stewards of the donations and their accounts, now bursting with increased funds, would actually be used for their stated mission. Unfortunately the “humane advocate protectors" apparently use those increased donation dollars for a much more important mission ~ salary increases.

The "humane advocate protectors" mission to fight for the greyhounds seemed to require a 14.1% personal salary increase last year, in addition to an approximate 9.6% salary increase for others on the protector payroll. 

Now find out how much of a salary your local greyhound adoption group volunteers received last year. Will you be shocked to learn that the donations adoption group volunteers collect really do go to help greyhounds?

One can't help but wonder if the "humane advocate protectors" have ever really been about the greyhounds or if it is nothing more than hiding the past and providing a free and constant influx of cash.

If I told a story about one of my ex-racing greyhounds, a story that pertained to its racing history, I would have no problem showing anyone my greyhound’s tattoos if they asked to see them. That’s what people with pride in their adopted ex-racing greyhounds do.  

We celebrate the history of our adopted greyhounds both past and present with truth. Now people with a lack of integrity will most likely hide information and truth in order to spin a greyhound’s history to their financial advantage.

Some like to play the "they are picking on me" game when they themselves perpetuate the picking, bullying and harassment. When questioned, they will not answer honestly, instead they resort to the “they are picking on me” diatribes and side-step providing the simple truth.

If a dog was truly an ex-racing greyhound and those who love greyhounds inquire about this dog, why is there a need to hide a dog’s identity, a dog’s history? Why deny this or any greyhound the right to be who it truly is and was?  What is the secret? What is the fear?  Are you afraid the truth negates your fairytale and will expose a long standing pattern of deception which will come out?

Now is your chance to prove those you claim are bullies are wrong.

Where Have All the Puppies Gone?

The "humane advocate protectors" will tell you about how the racing industry kills greyhound puppies at an alarming rate, however what exact documentation have they presented to the public? Or do they know their followers will believe and never question what is put before them?

Playing the greyhound puppy card is always an easy way to get donations because who doesn't like puppies? 

"Humane advocate protectors" don't provide exact numbers or hard proof of their claims because they know a majority of the public believe and donate to without that proof, without asking questions, because that is what disciples do.

Looking at some numbers from 2010 it's not too difficult to see where the puppies are. Viewing several websites will provide an idea of the natural attrition of puppies 3 months and younger. There were estimates from as low as 17% to as high as 30% so I decided to err on the low side and used 22% as a natural attrition rate.

In 2010 there were 12,801 greyhound puppies whelped. If you take the natural attrition rate of 22% you would have 2816 pups that were either stillborn or died of natural causes before the age of 3 months which leave a total of 9,985. (To be clear, I have not done calculations on ALL dog breeds natural attrition and as it has not previously been presented to the public I think it is fair to say the "humane advocate protectors" have not researched all dog breeds natural attrition either so there is no documented evidence that greyhound puppy natural attrition is higher or lower than any other dog breed.)

We have a total of 9680 different pups that were born in 2010 that raced. These stats do not include the Pensacola track because we have not been able to locate Pensacola’s information for this blog. So the 9,680 number is actually a little higher, but we don't know by how much. (If this blog was written by a “humane advocate protector”, a bogus number would have been included).

The difference between 9,985 and 9,680 is 305.

That is 305 pups that didn't race.

Now that isn't the number of greyhound puppies that were killed between 3 months of age and racing age (which is about 18 months) - that is the number of puppies THAT DID NOT RACE. Huge difference.

So where are the puppies?

Looks like they are racing. And if they not racing probably snoozing on someone’s couch right now, as that 305 number includes dogs that schooled but failed to enter an official race but did enter an official adoption program!

So………

In 1997 a hate filled “humane advocate protector” had this to say about an individual -

"the 'National Animal Interest Alliance' is a national group. In fact, we could bring into discussion, how much do they pay you, Sue?" 

 Yet today when his and his wife’s total compensation is brought into discussion  he wants to hush the topic – why is that, just how much do they compensate you hate filled “humane advocate protectors”?

It should be noted that at the time, the "humane advocate protector" was making accusations against the wrong Sue - any wonder we question anything this hate monger says?

As the year comes to a close, let's look back on just a few items that were brought to all of our attentions in 20014 regarding “humane advocate protectors”:

1.   A co-founder of a protection organization is involved in unregulated dog racing yet the protection organization seems only interested in destroying para-mutual greyhound racing industry and the racing greyhound as generations have known and loved the breed.

2.   A co-founder of a protection organization has not told the full story regarding an incident used time and again for what is perceived by many to be distortion of the truth and an easy way to garner donations for personal use and a political agenda.


3.  Several “humane advocate protectors" are unwilling to give their support to a safety bill for racing greyhounds which makes it perfectly clear that they have no interest in ensuring racing greyhounds receive the utmost safety and care during their racing careers.
      
I know many of you are tired of the “humane advocate protectors” selective prosecution of a whole industry, we are tired of them lying time and time again and all we ask for is the whole truth about them to be exposed since they will not tell the truth about themselves or the greyhounds!

What interesting truths about “humane advocate protectors" will come to light in 2015? Like they say, truth is stranger than fiction.

It Starts At Home....................

13 years ago yesterday the hero’s on Flight 93 did what they could in the war on terrorism in the US. Since that time, organizations and people associated with “domestic terrorist” groups have had unfettered access to politicians and have been driving bills and legislation. It is unfortunate that we have allowed ourselves to back slide after so many have given their lives since 9-11 to protect the rights of US citizens. In honor of those who gave the ultimate sacrifice it is time replace all legislators who have granted access to people and organizations with ties to domestic terrorism.

It starts at home and until we rid ourselves of those with that love to use hate and fear to dictate our lives we will never win the war against these evil doers!

Let’s roll and start voting out those legislative members that have gotten into bed with individuals and organizations with ties to domestic terrorist groups, like the Animal Liberation Front or honored in their "Hall of Fame".

The only way we as a nation will win the war on terror is if we remove the hate, fear and destruction these individuals and organizations cause right here at home!

I for one will never forget and will never vote for nor support a legislature or candidate that has allowed unfettered access to people and organizations with direct connections to domestic terrorists such as the Animal Liberation Front. Always take that extra step to inform yourself about the candidates you are voting for.

The Greed Bucket Challenge..............

Here is a challenge for the greyhounds -

The Humane Society of the United States has been challenged to donate 50% of the money they raise to local shelters instead of the 1% they have been contributing. So far this challenge has gone 1,552 plus days without being accepted.

Why do “humane advocate protectors” want to horde the money for themselves instead of using it for the actual animals that they use in their ads that generate the donations?

The greyhound world has its own “humane advocate protectors" that use greyhounds and photographs of greyhound for personal profit. Right now “humane advocate protectors” are using a photo of a greyhound from a very tragic situation that happened in 2010 and a donate button is clearly labeled so that the reader can send money to help greyhounds. Unfortunately money donated to these “humane advocate protectors” has very little chance of helping a single greyhound; instead it is used to fund the personal lifestyles of hate filled “humane advocate protectors”. 

Here is a challenge which I predict will never be accepted. I challenge the “humane advocate protectors” to donate every penny they raise from this current grab-for-cash and give 100% of it to the adoption groups that actually volunteered to help the dogs from the 2010 incident. Greyhound adoption groups are truly the ones that help greyhounds both physically and financially every day of the year. Unpaid leaders and volunteers of greyhound adoption groups don't get the perks of many “humane advocate protectors" who use their donations for salaries, trips and other unidentified miscellaneous expenses.    

So I challenge the "humane advocate protectors" that to date have only given 2% or less of the cash raised to the greyhounds to end the greed and return the money to the groups that will actually use it to help greyhounds.

Dancing with Fools.........

I’ve always said that it's ok if you choose to be anti-racing but if you are truly anti-racing then you should be revolting against the “humane advocate protectors” who have raised millions of dollars yet direct very little of the cash to be used with helping a single greyhound. Instead the donations are directed to funding salaries, benefits, trips and excursions that always seem to include photos of personal hobbies as part of the deal of the “humane advocate protector” profiteers. After all the moto of the “humane advocate protectors” is covet the fool’s money.

Many have already taken a stand against this behavior in other organizations.

It’s now time for the anti-greyhound-racing movement to show some moxie and do the same. Take a stand against the "humane advocate protector” profiteer organizations that are benefiting individuals and not the dogs. Stand up against “humane advocate protector” organizations that claim to be against greyhound racing, that were co-founded by an individual involved in unregulated dog racing that supports a group whose principal brokers the selling and transfers of U.S. Greyhounds overseas for racing and breeding.

Show the world you are really “anti-greyhound-racing” and do something if you truly care about greyhounds. Otherwise you are nothing but fools dancing with "humane advocate protectors" who are using you for nothing more than personal profit.

Boot Camp

In 1982 I joined the U.S. Navy and like all newbies I had to endure boot camp. My first shock was having my long curly hair shaved off with a few quick swoops of the clippers. Then the real work begins. Boot camp is a time where the company commanders take a bunch of individuals, ripped them raw and then once ready, the individuals are made more confident and stronger as they are built back up as a team. 

The most important single thing to know about boot camp is that it is 100% designed to remold civilians into team members. It places within them a sense that they are expected to do important things, far more important things than could be expected from other 18-year-olds and that they can accomplish important things working together - giving it their all, knowing they can count on each other.

Many good individuals are working to save the animals from groups and "charities" designated as domestic terrorists who masquerade as animal rights/animal protection organizations. Following are some agencies you should consider teaming up because in order to truly insure the care and safety of the animals and pets we care about, we need to tear down our individualism and build ourselves up as a team:

Recently I noticed this posting on Facebook –

 ”I am offended that this FB page turned up on my News Feed as a suggested page to like. We have rescued four Greys over the years, and I have seen the treatment these babies receive at the track via a behind the scene tour. It is all about $$ and is a disgusting form of animal abuse´ 

I went to the individual's page and that of their spouse curious to see if they share items from “humane advocate protectors” and sure enough they do.

I’m offended that this individual claims to be offended by one type of group yet shares posts from an organization that was co-founded by a person who races whippets, judge’s whippet races and breeds whippets for unregulated dog racing.  I’m offended that this individual claims to be offended by one type of group yet shares posts from an organization that supports and promotes a group whose principal brokers the selling of U.S. greyhounds overseas for breeding and racing.

Silly you and the alleged feelings of being “offended”! May I suggest instead of being offended – investigate who you choose to follow and if you are truly anti-racing then end your support of those who are pulling the wool over the alleged offended eyes you claim to have.
